Peter Strom and Naomi Uyama both started dancing in the late nineties and over the past decade have been teaching Lindy Hop worldwide.� They discovered swing in their hometowns of Minneapolis and Washington DC where they founded local dances and workshops now known throughout the scene.� They are both sought after DJs, Peter is known for his infamous late night parties and Naomi as a competition DJ.� In addition to teaching and playing music Peter is also an experienced MC at such high profile events as the International Lindy Hop Championships and the All Balboa Weekend, while Naomi has the privilege of singing with the renowned Boilermaker Jazz Band, Gordon Webster, and the Cangelosi Cards.� As individuals, a couple, and as members of the international troupe the Silver Shadows they have won titles at some of the most prestigious competitions such as the American Lindy Hop Championships, the US Open Swing Dance Championships, and the Ultimate Lindy Hop Championships.� They have found more and more reward over the years in helping dancers deepen their understanding of what Lindy Hop has to offer everyone.
