The competitions at Tokyo Balboa Weekend are open to everyone, no matter your level or experience.
Tokyo Balboa Weekendのコンペティションは、レベルに関係なくどなたでも参加できます。

Mix & Match

For the Mix & Match, we hope you'll enjoy a little bit of competition excitement and the unique energy that comes with it. More than the results, what really matters is enjoying the music and having a great connection with your partner, regardless of their level. If you've never entered a competition before, don't be shy—give it a try! Think of it as a fun challenge and a great way to experience a different side of social dancing.
No matter your level, we hope you'll jump in, challenge yourself, and have fun!

Mix & Matchでは、コンペティションならではの少しの緊張感と特別な雰囲気を楽しんでください。大切なのは順位ではなく、音楽を楽しみ、その場で組んだパートナーとレベルを問わず良いコミュニケーションを取りながら踊ることです。 初めて参加される方も、ぜひゲーム感覚で気軽にチャレンジしてみてください。

One Minute Showcase

The One Minute Showcase is also open to dancers of all levels. We encourage you to think of it as a personal challenge: "What can I create and share with the audience in just one minute?" Whether you're performing solo, with a partner, or with a group, it's a great opportunity to set a goal, work on something fun, and enjoy the experience of performing.

One Minute Showcaseも、レベルに関係なくどなたでも参加できます。 「今の自分が1分間でどれだけ楽しいダンスを表現できるか」に挑戦する機会として、ぜひ参加してみてください。目標を持って練習する過程も、本番のステージも、どちらも楽しんでいただければ嬉しいです。
