First Step Mix & Match

This competition is designed for dancers who have been learning Balboa for about a year or less and have never entered a competition before. Our goal is to give first-time competitors a chance to experience the excitement and fun of a Mix & Match in a welcoming environment.ｓ Participation is free, so come give it a try and discover what competitions are all about!

First Step Mix & Matchは、バルボアを始めてまだ1年前後の方や、コンペティションに出場したことがない方を対象としたコンペティションです。 ミックス＆マッチならではの緊張感や楽しさを気軽に体験していただくことを目的としています。 参加費は無料です。ぜひこの機会に、コンペティションの楽しさを体験してみてください。

Open Mix & Match

The competitions at Tokyo Balboa Weekend are open to everyone, no matter your level or experience.
For the Mix & Match, we hope you'll enjoy a little bit of competition excitement and the unique energy that comes with it. More than the results, what really matters is enjoying the music and having a great connection with your partner, regardless of their level. If you've never entered a competition before, don't be shy—give it a try! Think of it as a fun challenge and a great way to experience a different side of social dancing.

Mix & Matchでは、コンペティションならではの少しの緊張感と特別な雰囲気を楽しんでください。大切なのは順位ではなく、音楽を楽しみ、その場で組んだパートナーとレベルを問わず良いコミュニケーションを取りながら踊ることです。 初めて参加される方も、ぜひゲーム感覚で気軽にチャレンジしてみてください。

One Minute Showcase

The One Minute Showcase is also open to dancers of all levels. We encourage you to think of it as a personal challenge: "What can I create and share with the audience in just one minute?" Whether you're performing solo, with a partner, or with a group, it's a great opportunity to set a goal, work on something fun, and enjoy the experience of performing.

One Minute Showcaseも、レベルに関係なくどなたでも参加できます。 「今の自分が1分間でどれだけ楽しいダンスを表現できるか」に挑戦する機会として、ぜひ参加してみてください。目標を持って練習する過程も、本番のステージも、どちらも楽しんでいただければ嬉しいです。
